The Good Day Farm On Tour LTD will ensure to only provide healthy, well-handled animals to bookings which are especially selected for their temperaments.
We undertake a full set of risk assessments for all the activities and animal interactions we offer, copies of which are available upon request. Our handlers will be present at all times to ensure safe interactions.
We hold a comprehensive Public Liability insurance policy, a copy of which is available upon request.
Our animals are very tame, but all animals are by nature unpredictable; Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for any injuries inflicted by the animals such as bites, if we are acting within our agreed terms and conditions.
On handling animals, we strongly advise washing of hands, a station will be provided if requested and there are not facilities onsite. We cannot be held responsible for illness after handling our animals due to lack of personal care.
It is of high importance that our animals are treated with respect, we have the right to withdraw our animals if our handling rules are not followed.
We have the right to change what animals we bring on the day without notice, this decision will only be taken due to welfare reasons.
If, during the course of a booking, there should be extreme weather conditions for example extreme heat or snow, we will make every effort to provide the activities agreed. However, we retain the right to withdraw any of the animals from handling on welfare or safety grounds.
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total fee will be required when booking weekend events. To avoid disappointment please call to discuss dates and times as soon as possible.
We will require sufficient vehicular access directly to the site the activity is to take place in, and access to our vehicle at all times in the event we need to return an animal quickly.
When booking the complete farm, we will require full information on the location, in order to comply with Department of Environment Farming and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) regulations.
Our prices are fixed regardless of number of animals. The price reflects the time put into administration, preparation, cleaning, travel and set up and pack down in order to undertake our visits.
