The Farm goes to school
Create an unforgettable experience with a farm at your school.
We come with full risk assessments, insurance, and resources to make the visit as easy as possible for you.

From nursery age to secondary school and beyond, we aim to offer the perfect package tailored to your requirements.
Whether it is to support well-being and offer therapeutic visits, to enhance experience, or expand learning, we can match our farm visit to your needs and facilities.
Providing curriculum lead activities

Alongside a farm set-up that is appropriate for the setting, in consultation with the school, we can provide resources to align with the national curriculum, including take-home materials to enable the children to share their learning.
Resources might relate to animal knowledge to enhance the exploration and identification of animals, to life-cycle experiences such as egg to chick to hen, to helping understand the role of the farm and connecting more clearly with the production of food and animal welfare issues.
With the option of half day or full day set ups, we are able to focus on one age group or can be visited by multiple classes throughout the day.
Well-being and Encounter activities
There are many times in school were well-being is an important factor, such as preparing for SATS and exams. We can bring the farm into focus on well-being in the following ways;

1-1 animal encounter for specific children
A single animal for a small group
A mix of small animals for a class experience
A small farm set up with more emphasis on ‘hands-on’ encounter
